Contact lens technology and fitting techniques have been very dynamic over the last 5 years and we pride ourselves in staying abreast with these new lenses. In fact, there is nearly a contact lens for every prescription. But our contact experience doesn't stop with just the very popular soft disposable lenses. Many of our patients have sought us out or been referred by their surgeon for very complex problems whereby contacts may be the only option to attain usable vision. These much customized "Medically Necessary Contacts" are used for keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration or irregular corneas resulting from transplants or injury.
